Inspired by this spirit—and our members’ willingness to help one another—we created the Haworth Member Relief Fund. This program reflects our values and provides a tangible way for our members to assist those facing life’s biggest challenges. By contributing to our fund, we can offer relief, hope, and peace of mind to our members when they need it most.

The Haworth Member Relief Fund

The Haworth Member Relief Fund offers short-term financial assistance to members facing significant life challenges, while providing a structured way for members to support one another in times of need.

Grants are available for a variety of financial hardships, including:

• Natural Disasters or Catastrophic Events – Assistance for those affected by events like floods, fires, or severe storms.
• Loss of an Immediate Family Member – Help with funeral expenses or loss of household income due to the passing of a Haworth member, spouse, domestic partner, or child.
• Serious Illness or Injury – Support for financial hardships caused by a serious illness or injury.

Our fund is managed by the Helping Hands Charitable Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization specializing in employee relief funds. They are responsible for overseeing our fund donations, reviewing and approving member grant applications, and distributing the approved funds to our members.

Applications

All regular full-time and part-time members of Haworth North America Commercial Interiors are eligible to apply for a grant.

Members must provide proof of financial hardship. Approved grants—up to $1,000 per year—are distributed tax-free, in the order received and based on fund availability.

Donations

Anyone is welcome to donate to our fund. Every contribution, whether large or small, makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our members.

Haworth Helps will match donations from members, retirees, and board members dollar for dollar—up to $500 per person annually—through the Haworth Matching Gift Program.
